There has been much silence on this blog. After 30 days of manic blogging, I walked away from my keyboard to contemplate.

Well, actually, I didn’t really contemplate much at all. I was just sucked back into the busy business of being busy. New school year. New clients. New things to worry and obsess about.

But nothing I felt compelled to blog about. That happens with me. Sometimes I like to withdraw. Retreat into the bubble of my family and focus on the day-to-day.

But I am still here and there are many ideas floating about my head waiting to be squeezed from my brain and out through my fingertips.

But in the meantime you may have noticed I’m looking a little more *ahem* glamorous these days. While I was contemplating, I was also being made over by the ever talented Kelly Exeter.

She even ran a comb over and wacked some lippy on my business site here.

But the piece de resistance is my splash page here. The place where my brain splits in two and you can decide which bit you want to delve into. The professional me, or the melodramatic me. I love this page. Love, love, love it.

Kelly nailed it. Good job she has the ability to read minds because I think my brief to her was something like this: “Make me look good…”

So that’s it for now. I may well retreat back into my silent cocoon for a little more contemplation. But I’m sure it won’t take long before these fingers of mine start to twitch again…
